(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 27-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Burberry has partnered with Hunza G to introduce a new swimwear capsule collection, set to launch globally in summer 2026. The collaboration brings together the distinct design identities of both British brands, combining Burberry’s heritage aesthetics with Hunza G’s expertise in innovative fabric construction.

The collection is built around Hunza G’s well-known silhouettes, crafted using its Original Crinkle™ fabric — a signature ultra-stretch material designed to adapt to different body shapes. These pieces are reinterpreted through Burberry’s visual codes, incorporating the house’s iconic check pattern and a colour palette inspired by its heritage, including black, white, metallic cocoa, and red.

To mark the launch, a series of campaign images shot by Ryan McGinley features British actor Simone Ashley and model Alva Claire. The portraits place the collection in relaxed coastal settings, highlighting the versatility of the designs for both beachwear and everyday summer styling.

Daniel Lee, Chief Creative Officer at Burberry, highlighted the shared design philosophy between the two brands, pointing to their mutual focus on material innovation and craftsmanship inspired by natural elements. Georgiana Huddart, founder and Creative Director of Hunza G, emphasized the alignment between the brands’ values, particularly their commitment to creating pieces that promote confidence and effortless style.

The capsule features four of Hunza G’s signature styles — the Faye, Tyler, Domino, and Devyn — known for their minimalist, body-contouring designs developed over decades. These are complemented by coordinated pieces such as a multifunctional swim skirt and tube top, each accented with Burberry Check detailing.

A newly introduced seahorse emblem, inspired by Burberry’s equestrian knight motif, has been reimagined for the collection, incorporating a shield and banner bearing Hunza G branding. This seasonal logo appears across selected items and packaging, including branded cotton garment bags.

Each piece in the collection is accompanied by a matching scrunchie, designed to complement both beachwear and casual summer outfits.

The Burberry x Hunza G swimwear capsule is available online and in selected stores worldwide from 27 April 2026.
