ADER ERROR infuses its signature Z-blue color into Bang & Olufsen’s Beosound A1 portable speaker, alongside a bespoke speaker bag and stand. The circular speaker bag, made of soft cowhide leather, offers both functionality and style, while the speaker stand, crafted with ADER ERROR’s design language, transforms the speaker into a piece of contemporary art. The Beosound A1 itself boasts powerful audio capabilities, including 360-degree sound dispersion and up to 18 hours of playtime, embodying the essence of both brands. The collection will debut at a pop-up in Seoul on April 10, 2024, followed by global availability on April 11, 2024, with limited quantities online and in selected stores.

For the collaboration, the Seoul based fashion brand layers its own vision over Bang & Olufsen’s powerful and timeless Beosound A1 portable speaker. ADER ERROR’s signature Z-blue colour shines throughout, while a bespoke speaker bag and speaker stand are designed by ADER ERROR to empower a borderless lifestyle.

Speaker bag as a fashion item

Following the shape of Beosound A1, the circular speaker bag takes inspiration from the softness of a plump cushion in contrast to the hardness of a speaker shell and helps the wearer to intuitively recognize the purpose of the bag.

The speaker bag is made using soft cowhide leather, cotton filling and completed with an adjustable shoulder strap and pouch, which allows the speaker to be safely kept and wearer to take the speaker on the go, hands-free. Pushing the boundaries between fashion, music and an electronic device, the speaker bag also has desirability with the design itself.

Speaker stand transforms sound to a piece of art

The ADER ERROR speaker stand, designed with ADER’s own formative language and based on the innovative spirit of Beosound A1, provides a whole new visual experience. The inspiration behind the ADER ERROR stand demonstrates how speakers are positioned in the home. Often on a table, the floor or on the wall, but rarely on a stand. Placed in the stand, the speaker transforms to a piece of art. Contemporary and visually interesting.

Under the brand philosophy, the speaker stand is designed to be in harmony with various environments, combining curves and straight lines with metallic material organically. The aluminium stand consists of three detachable parts, showcasing outstanding durability and portability.

A music powerhouse tuned by ear

The speaker itself holds a 3.5-inch aluminium cone mid woofer using a powerful neodymium magnetic system, a silk dome ¾-inch dome tweeter and advanced DSP filtering powered by a pair of 30-watt class D amplifiers. And – as always – tuned by ear by renowned Bang & Olufsen tonmeisters in Struer, Denmark.

The speaker comes with 360-degree sound dispersion, up to 18 hours of playtime and is fully dust and waterproof (IP67). The speaker also includes a 3-microphone array, providing call clarity when Beosound A1 is used as a speakerphone.

To celebrate the partnership, the Beosound A1 ADER ERROR Edition with speaker stand as well as the circular ADER ERROR speaker bag will be unveiled during the Bang & Olufsen x ADER ERROR pop-up in Seoul starting April 10, 2024. The collection will be globally available April 11, 2024.
