Allianz SE Extends Mandates of Key Board Members Through 2029

(IN BRIEF) The Supervisory Board of Allianz SE has prolonged the mandates of Sirma Boshnakova and Günther Thallinger, members of the Board of Management, until December 2029, pending regulatory approvals. Boshnakova oversees the Group’s insurance operations in Western & Southern Europe, Allianz Direct, and Allianz Partners, while Thallinger is responsible for Investment Management and Sustainability. This extension reflects the confidence in the leadership team’s stability and ability to drive profitable growth while enhancing the investment portfolio’s performance to benefit policyholders.

(PRESS RELEASE) MUNICH, 7-Mar-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — The Supervisory Board of Allianz SE has extended the mandates of Allianz SE Board of Management Members Sirma Boshnakova, 52, responsible for the Group’s insurance businesses in Western & Southern Europe, Allianz Direct and Allianz Partners, and Günther Thallinger, 52, responsible for Investment Management and Sustainability, through December 2029, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Günther Thallinger joined the Allianz SE Board of Management in 2017, Sirma Boshnakova in 2022.
