The Top Solar Contractors list is developed each year by industry magazine Solar Power World to honor the work of companies advancing new solar installations in the United States. Solar firms in the utility, commercial and residential markets are ranked by number of kilowatts installed in the previous year. Companies are grouped and listed by specific services, markets and states. Lightsource bp is ranked at No. 2 in the nation.

In 2022 alone, the Lightsource bp team in the USA brought 622 megawatts of projects into commercial operation, the benchmark for this year’s top solar developer ranking. That’s enough to power more than 100,000 U.S. homes.
