ABL France Expands Offshore Wind Leadership Team with Appointments of Maxime Pottier and Kevin Vincent

(IN BRIEF) ABL France has appointed Maxime Pottier as Head of Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) France and Kevin Vincent as Senior Transport & Installation Engineer, further strengthening its offshore wind expertise. Maxime, who joined ABL in 2024, brings over 17 years of international marine experience and will lead the MWS France team in ensuring safety and innovation across offshore wind and floating wind projects. Kevin joins with more than ten years of T&I experience in offshore wind and oil & gas, including work on the EFGL floating wind project and with BlueFloat Energy and Principal Power. According to Country Manager Fabien Thomas, the appointments reaffirm ABL’s commitment to delivering world-class engineering and marine solutions across France, Iberia, and the Benelux region.

The additions reinforce ABL’s long-standing expertise in supporting France’s expanding offshore and floating wind sectors.

Maxime Pottier has been appointed Head of Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) France. Joining ABL France in April 2024 as Principal Naval Architect and MWS Project Manager, Maxime brings over 17 years of experience as a Marine Warranty Surveyor and Marine Engineer across international offshore installation projects in France, Angola, Norway, and the Gulf of Mexico. Since joining ABL, he has successfully led MWS operations on French offshore wind farms, showcasing his technical depth and leadership in managing complex marine operations. In his new role, Maxime will lead the French MWS team, focusing on maintaining the highest safety and quality standards while driving innovation and efficiency for offshore wind and floating wind projects.

Kevin Vincent has joined ABL France as Senior Transport & Installation Engineer within the Owner’s Engineer team. With more than a decade of offshore industry experience, Kevin has held key positions such as T&I engineer, project engineer, operations engineer, and project manager. His career includes significant contributions to both offshore wind and oil & gas projects, with a strong focus on floating wind technology. Before joining ABL, Kevin played a central role in the EFGL floating wind project as Lead T&I Engineer and later worked with BlueFloat Energy and Principal Power as Senior T&I Engineer, where he contributed to advancing floating wind turbine installation strategies.
