Saint-Gobain Advances Portfolio Optimization With Sale of HKO and Deltec Industrial Insulation Textile Business

(IN BRIEF) Saint-Gobain has finalized the sale of HKO in Germany and Deltec in France, a business focused on manufacturing technical textile components for high-temperature industrial insulation. The products are mainly used in automotive and industrial applications. The business includes production sites in Oberhausen, Beuren and Leinefelde in Germany, as well as Wattignies in France, and employs around 220 people. In 2025, it generated sales of approximately €45 million. The divestment to a fund managed by DUBAG Group supports Saint-Gobain’s broader strategy to optimize its portfolio and sharpen its business profile in line with the objectives of its Lead & Grow plan.

(PRESS RELEASE) COURBEVOIE, 2-Jun-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Saint-Gobain has completed the divestment of HKO, its high-temperature industrial insulation textile business in Germany, together with Deltec, its related operation in France, to a fund managed by DUBAG Group. The transaction covers a business specializing in the production of technical textile components used mainly for high-temperature insulation in automotive and industrial applications.

HKO operates industrial sites in Oberhausen, Beuren and Leinefelde in Germany, as well as a facility in Wattignies, France, through Deltec. The business generated approximately €45 million in sales in 2025 and employs around 220 people across its operations.

The sale forms part of Saint-Gobain’s ongoing portfolio optimization strategy under its Lead & Grow plan. Through this divestment, the Group continues to refine its business profile and focus resources on activities aligned with its long-term strategic priorities.
