Planit Canada, founded in 2008, is the world’s second-largest reseller of Cabinet Vision, Hexagon’s design-to-manufacturing software for cabinet and casegoods manufacturers. The company has supported woodworking businesses across Canada with software, training, technical support and maintenance services, building long-standing customer relationships and deep knowledge of local manufacturing workflows.

The acquisition brings Planit Canada fully into Hexagon’s Production Software Division and supports the continued expansion of Hexagon’s Wood, Stone and Composites vertical. It is also expected to create additional growth opportunities for Alphacam, another Hexagon production software solution that Planit Canada has recently added to its offering.
