The platform is the first stage of a wider effort to create more personalised digital experiences for cycling audiences.

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 3-Jul-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Capgemini and the Tour de France have launched “Inside My Race”, a new digital experience designed to give cycling fans personalised, near real-time insights into the race and its riders.

Developed by Capgemini in its role as Official Technology Partner of the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the platform combines live race information, editorial material and generative AI to create individual race stories for users throughout the event.

“Inside My Race” is intended to offer both established cycling followers and newer audiences a clearer view of the tactics, changes in momentum and key moments that shape each stage of the Tour. Fans can choose up to four cyclists to follow, including favourite riders or competitors from their own country, and receive tailored information about their performance, position and role in the race.

The platform’s generative AI capability turns complex racing data into accessible explanations and evolving stories. Rather than presenting users with isolated figures or conventional dashboards, the experience brings together race statistics, live updates, editorial content and historical context to interpret developments as the competition unfolds.

The service also includes a 3D map that allows users to compare selected riders with the head of the race and better understand the changing dynamics of each stage.

Content is adapted according to the riders and stages selected by each user. This allows fans to receive different levels of detail before, during and after a stage, depending on their interest and familiarity with the sport.

The platform draws on several types of information, including live data on rider groups, positioning, speed, time gaps and terrain conditions. It also incorporates race summaries, interviews, expert analysis, historical records, photographs and video content.

By combining these elements, “Inside My Race” is designed to add context to the action, identify significant moments in near real time and explain why developments within the peloton may matter. The platform’s narrative approach is intended to help users follow strategic moves, rider performance and the wider history of the race as it develops.

The first rollout represents the initial phase of a broader effort to create a more personalised digital experience for cycling audiences. Further developments are planned over the coming year as Capgemini and the Tour de France continue to build on the platform.

Julien Goupil, Media and Partnership Director at Amaury Sport Organisation, said the initiative supports the organisation’s ambition to make cycling more accessible to a global audience and help fans engage more closely with the event and their selected riders.

Thomas Hirsch, Global Head of External Communications, Reputation and Sponsorships at Capgemini, said the project demonstrates how generative AI, live data and operational delivery can be combined in a demanding sporting environment where speed, reliability and flexibility are essential.

“Inside My Race” will be available across Tour de France platforms from 4 July 2026, including the official website, mobile application and the Capgemini-powered Race Center. The experience will be introduced throughout the 2026 Tour de France.
