Tomas Kindler, Rafael Moral Santiago, and Fabienne-Anne Rehulka Appointed to SIX Executive Board to Lead Future Growth

(IN BRIEF) SIX has announced key appointments to its Group Executive Board, effective June 1, 2025. Tomas Kindler has been appointed as Head of Exchanges, following his interim role since January 2025. Rafael Moral Santiago takes on the role of Head of Securities Services, succeeding José Manuel Ortiz, who returns to his previous position. Fabienne-Anne Rehulka, General Counsel at SIX, will also join the Executive Board as a full member from April 2025. These appointments aim to strengthen SIX’s leadership team as the company continues to expand and develop its business across various sectors.

(PRESS RELEASE) ZURICH, 15-May-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — SIX, the leading financial services company, today announced several important appointments to its Group Executive Board, effective June 1, 2025. Tomas Kindler has been appointed as the Head of Exchanges, having served in the role on an interim basis since January 1, 2025. His appointment follows the transition of Bjørn Sibbern to the role of CEO. Kindler previously held significant leadership positions at SIX, including Head of the Operating Office Exchanges and Head of x-clear. He has been with the company since 2011 and holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, alongside a degree in Business Administration and Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology.

Rafael Moral Santiago has also been appointed as the new Head of Securities Services, succeeding José Manuel Ortiz, who returns to his previous role as Head of Clearing and Repo Operations. Santiago, who brings a wealth of international experience, was previously the Global Head of Country Management for HSBC’s Securities Services in Hong Kong. With a strong background in leadership roles at HSBC and Deutsche Bank, Santiago will play a key role in the growth of SIX’s Securities Services business. He holds degrees from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and INSEAD, further solidifying his qualifications.

In addition, Fabienne-Anne Rehulka, who joined SIX in June 2024 as Group General Counsel, has been appointed a full member of the Executive Board, effective April 1, 2025. With over 20 years of experience in legal and regulatory matters, Rehulka’s expertise will complement the leadership team and drive SIX’s strategic goals forward.
