Herrmann, who has been a member of the management board since May 2021, will see her term extended by an additional three years. With extensive experience, including her previous role as CFO of Western Union International Bank GmbH, Herrmann brings a wealth of financial expertise to her position. Her reappointment underscores the board’s confidence in her leadership and contributions to the exchange’s strategic direction.

(PRESS RELEASE) VIENNA, 22-Mar-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — The supervisory board is committed to stability and continuity in the management board of the Vienna Stock Exchange: Andrea Herrmann was confirmed in her role as CFO and reappointed at supervisory board meeting. Her term of office, which currently runs until 30 April 2024, will be extended by a further three years. The Vienna-born has been a member of the management board since May 2021, which she forms together with Christoph Boschan (CEO) and Petr Koblic (Shareholdings).

Before joining the Vienna Stock Exchange, Andrea Herrmann was CFO of Western Union International Bank GmbH for eleven years. Other positions in her career include GE Money Bank, Telekom Austria and ABB Austria. She has completed several international management programmes, among others at the University of Minnesota and the WU Executive Academy.
