The award was shared among Savills, Countryside Partnerships, and Torus, who collaborated on the sale. Peel Hall, one of the largest land sales ever recorded in England, was acquired by Countryside Partnerships and Torus Developments in January of the previous year. The sale is expected to generate approximately £10 million in Section 106 contributions for the construction of a residential care home, restaurant/café, primary school, and more, potentially adding £150 million to the local economy.

The award was jointly earned by Savills, Countryside Partnerships, and Torus, who collaborated closely on the sale, receiving development consultancy guidance and agency support from the Savills Manchester team. This accolade was presented to the accomplished team in front of an audience of approximately 800 attendees at Manchester Central during an awards ceremony hosted by the multi-talented actor and former professional rugby player, Martin Bayfield.

Peel Hall, a significant land parcel, was acquired by Countryside Partnerships and Torus Developments in January of the previous year, marking one of the most substantial land sales ever recorded in England.

The sale of this site is expected to result in approximately £10 million in Section 106 contributions, facilitating the development of essential community assets, including a residential care home, restaurant/café, primary school, public open spaces, ancillary facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
