Elisabeth Birkeland Kvalheim to succeed Carri Lockhart at Equinor’s Corporate Executive Committee as Executive VP for Technology, Digital & Innovation

(PRESS RELEASE) STAVANGER, 22-Mar-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Equinor ASA (OSE:EQNR, NYSE:EQNR), an oil, gas, wind and solar energy company active in more than 30 markets globally, has announced that Elisabeth Birkeland Kvalheim to succeed Carri Lockhart at Equinor’s Corporate Executive Committee as Executive VP for Technology, Digital & Innovation. Carri has decided to resign from Equinor and return to the US.

Carri Lockhart will step out of the Corporate Executive Committee (CEC) on 22 March 2022 and will be available for the company to secure a good handover until 30 June 2022. Senior Vice President Elisabeth Birkeland Kvalheim has been appointed acting Executive Vice President for TDI, effective today.

Lockhart joined Equinor in 2016 and has held several senior leadership roles in Norway and the US before joining the CEC on 1 June 2021.

The process to appoint the new Executive Vice President for TDI has been initiated and will be communicated when concluded.
