(PRESS RELEASE) AUSTRALIA, 13-May-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Deutsche Bank has supported Palisade Investment Partners with a AUD 150 million seven-year non-recourse loan facility as sole lender, helping refinance existing debt facilities tied to the Intera Renewables platform in Australia.

The financing will partially refinance debt associated with Intera Renewables, the renewable energy platform established by Palisade Investment Partners, which continues to operate as a long-term investor together with institutional investment partners.

Intera Renewables manages a diversified renewable energy portfolio that currently includes four operational onshore wind farms, one operational solar asset, two battery energy storage system (BESS) projects under construction, and an expanding renewable energy development pipeline. The platform focuses on long-term asset growth and stable income generation within the Australian clean energy market.

The Deutsche Bank facility forms part of a broader AUD 845 million financing package involving a syndicate of domestic and international lenders. The additional financing is supporting the acquisition of the Summerfield Battery Energy Storage System project, a large-scale energy storage development with a planned capacity of 240 MW / 960 MWh designed to strengthen grid reliability and support Australia’s ongoing energy transition.

Rachel Chia, Head of Project Finance for Asia-Pacific at Deutsche Bank, stated that the refinancing demonstrates the bank’s ability to provide tailored long-term capital solutions for renewable energy portfolios while continuing to support the expansion of Australia’s clean energy infrastructure.

Deutsche Bank has maintained an ongoing financing relationship with Palisade Investment Partners and previously acted as an existing lender to the Intera Renewables portfolio and the Stockyard Hill Wind Farm since 2024. The latest transaction further strengthens the bank’s involvement in Australia’s renewable energy market and its support for one of the country’s largest diversified renewable energy investment platforms.

The transaction reflects continued investment momentum across Australia’s renewable energy and energy storage sectors, where large-scale battery infrastructure is becoming increasingly important for balancing electricity supply, integrating renewable generation, and improving grid stability as the country accelerates its transition toward lower-carbon energy systems.
