(PRESS RELEASE) MILAN, 8-Nov-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Webuild SpA, an Italian industrial group specialised in the construction and civil engineering, formerly Salini Impregilo, has announced that the Parklife Metro consortium has won the tender for the Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) package for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project.
Webuild has an approximate 78% share of the D&C Joint-venture and is part of the Parklife Metro consortium along with Plenary Origination Pty Ltd, RATP Developpement SA, Siemens Mobility Pty Ltd, Siemens Mobility GmbH, Siemens Project Ventures GmbH and Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH.
The Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport line will service Greater Western Sydney and the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.
