(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 30-Oct-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor has completed the development of its Bucharest III Pallady Logistics Park, marking the debut of Bucharest’s first “Last Mile” logistics hub. This announcement highlights Logicor’s achievement in creating a state-of-the-art, sustainable facility in Romania’s capital, designed to enhance efficient and rapid distribution within the city.

Located strategically near the Sun Highway and just a short distance from Anghel Saligny subway station, the 41,500 sqm facility features two buildings equipped with modern, environmentally conscious amenities, including LED lighting systems and custom-built spaces tailored to the specific needs of tenants. Certified with a BREEAM Very Good rating, the park includes 37,000 sqm of warehouse space, 2,800 sqm of office areas, and an additional 1,700 sqm mezzanine.

With nearly full occupancy, the logistics park has attracted prominent tenants such as Cărturești, MKS, Editura Trei, Banca Pentru Alimente, Homplex, and Vel Pitar. These companies will benefit from Bucharest III Pallady’s optimized location, which supports seamless distribution for both local and nationwide markets, providing easy access for employees and efficient supply chain coverage.

Mihai Diaconescu, Director of Asset Management & Development at Logicor Romania, expressed enthusiasm for the park’s role in enabling efficient, sustainable logistics in Bucharest, a key economic center in Romania. Diaconescu also indicated that Logicor plans to expand the facility based on future tenant needs and growing market demand.

In alignment with its mission to contribute positively to local communities, Logicor integrated an artistic element into the project. Romanian artist Wanda Hutira was invited to create a 100 sqm mural on the park’s water tank, inspired by Theodor Pallady, after whom the boulevard is named. Her artwork interprets Logicor’s dedication to facilitating the trade flow essential to daily life.

With this addition, Logicor Romania’s portfolio now encompasses over 320,000 sqm of premium logistics space, serving notable clients like Fildas-Catena, Dr. MAX, Coca-Cola, and IKEA, solidifying its position as a leading logistics provider in Romania.
