International Security GmbH Expands Video Guard Fleet with New SFC Energy Fuel Cell Order

(IN BRIEF) SFC Energy AG has secured a EUR 2.8 million order from International Security GmbH for EFOY Pro 2800 methanol fuel cells that will power Video Guard mobile surveillance units. The agreement strengthens SFC Energy’s position in the growing civilian security and off-grid surveillance market while helping International Security GmbH secure supply capacity for 2026. The fuel cells provide low-maintenance, low-emission and autonomous power for remote video monitoring applications across construction and infrastructure projects.

(PRESS RELEASE) BRUNNTAL, 20-May-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — SFC Energy AG has received a new order valued at approximately EUR 2.8 million from long-standing customer International Security GmbH, further strengthening its position in the growing civilian security and video surveillance market.

The order covers the delivery of EFOY Pro 2800 methanol fuel cells, which will be integrated into International Security GmbH’s mobile surveillance units marketed under the “Video Guard” brand. The systems are designed to support autonomous video monitoring operations for construction sites and other remote or off-grid environments where reliable continuous power supply is essential.

The Video Guard surveillance units are widely used for construction site security and infrastructure monitoring across Germany. The systems combine advanced video analytics, customized security concepts and remote surveillance technologies to provide protection for projects of varying scale and complexity.

SFC Energy’s EFOY Pro 2800 fuel cells provide a low-maintenance and environmentally conscious energy source that operates quietly and with reduced emissions, making the technology particularly suitable for sensitive locations and long-duration deployments in remote areas.

The latest order also reflects International Security GmbH’s decision to secure supply volumes for 2026 in advance, underlining continued growth expectations in the European civilian security sector and increasing demand for autonomous off-grid surveillance solutions.

According to SFC Energy, the agreement also demonstrates the scalability of its business model, with standardized integration of fuel cell systems into surveillance units generating recurring demand and supporting long-term customer partnerships.

The company noted that interest in mobile autonomous security technologies is accelerating not only in Germany but across wider European markets as demand increases for digital monitoring, infrastructure protection and energy-independent surveillance systems.

Peter Podesser, Chief Executive Officer of SFC Energy AG, said the construction site and critical infrastructure security market is experiencing rapid growth driven by rising security requirements, operational efficiency needs and expanding digital monitoring capabilities.

Podesser added that the agreement with International Security GmbH highlights both the strong market momentum for off-grid power systems and the increasing strategic importance of the security segment within SFC Energy’s overall business portfolio.

Jörn Windler, Managing Partner and Founder of International Security GmbH, stated that SFC Energy has become a trusted partner for autonomous energy supply solutions and noted that the EFOY Pro fuel cells play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted operation of the company’s Video Guard surveillance systems.

Windler also said the order supports the company’s planned growth and helps address rising customer demand for high-performance autonomous security technologies.
