(PRESS RELEASE) ARNSTORF, 29-Jul-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Lindner Group has completed the bespoke interior fit‑out of SMS group’s new, state‑of‑the‑art headquarters in Mönchengladbach after nearly four years of construction. This innovative campus—designed as five concentric rings—spans 44,000 m² and accommodates around 1,500 flexible workstations, from open co‑working lounges to private think tanks, all crafted to enhance collaboration across the company’s entire value chain.

Custom Interiors Tailored to Contemporary Workstyles
The Lindner Group installed acoustically refined, fire‑rated Lindner Life Stereo 125 glazed partitions throughout the buildings. These were complemented by elegant COMPlacq aluminium panels with custom digital prints and the non‑combustible FIREwood real wood veneer. In laboratory and research zones, Planum Type 1 dry glazing was employed to satisfy stringent hygiene, fire safety, and sound‑absorption requirements.

Door solutions include the ATB 42 aluminium‑framed model and the GTB 100 glass door, both offering superior acoustic insulation alongside sleek modern designs. Traditional timber‑framed, wooden, and sliding doors provide additional variety, matching different spatial needs.

Robust, Sustainable Flooring and Ceilings
To ensure durability and fire safety, the NORTEC raised floor system—made from non‑combustible calcium sulphate—was installed, earning Cradle to Cradle® Silver certification. The FLOOR and more® dry hollow floor, also C2C Silver certified, offers rapid installation, high load capacity, and a seamless finish. The CAVOPEX hollow floor with its flowing screed top layer optimizes under‑floor utility routing with wide support spacing. Above, the LMD‑E 312 metal ceiling combines refined aesthetics with acoustic performance.

Dynamic Room‑in‑Room Solutions for Maximum Flexibility
Modular Lindner Cube duo and FLEXshell room‑in‑room units provide self‑contained focus spaces and open meeting areas. Both systems feature integrated lighting and climate control, can be easily repositioned, and support a vibrant, adaptable office environment that evolves with changing needs.

Efficient Delivery via Lean Construction
Lean Construction Management principles and Lindner’s proprietary “Metronom” software ensured the project stayed on schedule and within budget, providing transparent process visualization and continuous quality assurance for its on‑time, cost‑effective completion.
