Mark Langer Joins PUMA Management Board as CFO Bringing Extensive Global Leadership Experience

Langer brings over 25 years of international experience in finance and leadership, most recently serving as CFO at Douglas AG and previously holding senior roles at HUGO BOSS, including CEO and CFO. (PRESS RELEASE) HERZOGENAURACH, 30-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — PUMA SE has announced the appointment of Mark Langer as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Member of the Management Board, effective May 1, 2026. In his new role, Langer will oversee key corporate functions including Finance, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit. He takes over from Markus Neubrand, who will step down from his position at the end of April and is set to leave the company later in September 2026 following a mutual agreement.

The leadership transition comes at a time when PUMA is focused on strengthening its financial performance and advancing its strategic priorities. Chief Executive Officer Arthur Hoeld highlighted Langer’s extensive experience in financial management and capital markets, as well as his proven leadership capabilities across internationally recognised consumer brands. He noted that Langer’s ability to navigate complex business environments and deliver results will play an important role in supporting the company’s ambition to return to sustainable and profitable growth. Hoeld also acknowledged Neubrand’s contributions, recognising his role in guiding the company through a critical phase that included strategic transformation initiatives and securing key financing arrangements.

Mark Langer brings more than 25 years of global experience spanning finance, strategy, and executive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as CFO and Member of the Managing Board at Douglas AG, where he led transformation efforts within the finance function aimed at improving profitability and operational efficiency. Prior to that, he spent over 17 years at HUGO BOSS AG, including serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2016 to 2020 and as Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2017, during which time he contributed to sustained growth in both revenue and earnings. He began his professional career at McKinsey & Company and Procter & Gamble.
