Held in Herzogenaurach under the theme “Ready for the next move,” the event brought together more than 300 guests, including suppliers, executives and industry partners, to discuss current challenges facing international supply networks and the evolving demands of global industrial markets.

During the event, Georg F. W. Schaeffler, family shareholder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG, together with Jochen Schröder, Chief Operating Officer of Schaeffler AG, presented the 2026 Supplier Awards to seven companies recognized for their exceptional contributions and performance within Schaeffler’s supplier network.

Discussions throughout the event focused on rising competitive and cost pressures, supply chain transparency, localization strategies and the need for robust sourcing structures capable of supporting long-term resilience and operational stability. Speakers also emphasized the importance of maintaining rapid development cycles and sustaining innovation capacity in increasingly volatile market conditions.

Jochen Schröder stated that close collaboration with suppliers remains a critical success factor for Schaeffler, particularly in a business environment characterized by growing complexity and uncertainty. He noted that resilient supply chains are essential for maintaining reliable delivery capabilities and supporting the company’s long-term competitiveness.

Schröder also stressed that Schaeffler views supplier relationships as performance-driven partnerships built on measurable results, shared responsibility and common strategic objectives focused on innovation, quality and cost efficiency.

The Supplier Awards recognized companies across several categories reflecting Schaeffler’s broad industrial operations and technology portfolio.

In the Indirect Purchasing category, Convergix Automation Solutions received recognition for its contributions.

Awards in the Powertrain & Chassis category were presented to Jiangsu Gian Technology Co., Ltd. and HES Präzisionsteile Hermann Erkert GmbH.

Within the Bearings & Industrial Solutions category, Trafilspec – L.T.S. S.p.A. was honored for its performance.

The Vehicle Lifetime Solutions award went to DP World.

In the Electric Mobility category, awards were presented to Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and LTH Castings.

Schaeffler said the awards continue the company’s long-standing practice of recognizing suppliers that demonstrate strong collaboration, high commitment and measurable contributions to operational success across its global business activities.
