AI-assisted advisory services and new investment tools to strengthen SpareBank 1 customer experience through partnership with Amundi

(IN BRIEF) SpareBank 1 has partnered with Amundi to enhance its digital savings and investment services through new advisory tools, AI-assisted customer support and expanded investment capabilities. The collaboration will integrate Amundi Technology’s ALTO Wealth & Distribution platform into SpareBank 1’s mobile banking ecosystem, providing customers with more personalised insights, reporting and investment guidance. The partnership also supports SpareBank 1’s strategy to grow its market share in the savings and investment sector while strengthening digital wealth management services across customer segments.

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 18-May-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — SpareBank 1 has entered into a strategic partnership with Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager, to strengthen its digital savings and investment offering and accelerate the development of next-generation investment services for customers.

The collaboration will focus on enhancing the digital advisory capabilities integrated into SpareBank 1’s mobile banking platform, with the goal of making savings and investing simpler, more accessible and more personalised for customers across different segments.

As part of the agreement, Amundi, through its technology division Amundi Technology, will support the Norwegian banking group with wealth management technology, customer reporting tools, model portfolio construction and fund selection services. The partnership will utilize Amundi Technology’s ALTO Wealth & Distribution platform to improve digital investment experiences and customer engagement.

According to Ronni Møller Pettersen, Chief Executive Officer of SpareBank 1 Forvaltning, the collaboration combines technology, analytics and investment expertise that will help improve investment decision-making, speed up product development and provide access to a broader investment universe for customers.

The bank said it is currently building a new generation of digital advisory services fully integrated into its wider banking ecosystem. Customers are expected to receive more continuous insights, personalised recommendations and improved oversight of their savings and investments directly through the mobile banking app.

Ronni Møller Pettersen added that the company’s objective is to make investing more relevant and valuable for each customer by using AI-assisted advisory services and enhanced reporting capabilities to support better-informed financial decisions.

Fannie Wurtz, Head of Distribution & Wealth Division, ETF and Asia at Amundi, said the partnership reflects a shared ambition to help more customers invest efficiently and confidently over the long term. She noted that Amundi will contribute investment solutions, wealth technology capabilities and research expertise to strengthen SpareBank 1’s digital investment proposition.

The partnership also forms part of SpareBank 1’s broader strategy to increase its market share in savings and investment services across all customer groups.
