SGS to acquire controlling stake in Industry 4.0 startup C-Labs SA in Chiasso, Switzerland

SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of a controlling stake in C-Labs SA, Chiasso, Switzerland.

Chiasso, Switzerland, 21-Dec-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — Founded in 2016, C-Labs is an Industry 4.0 startup, developing solutions for transforming food regulatory compliance. It adopts the latest machine learning techniques with the support of Swiss Artificial Intelligence Lab IDSIA (Istituto Dalle Molle di Studi sull’Intelligenza Artificiale).

The C-Labs platform is being developed as an integrated solution within SGS. It creates a new paradigm, using both human and technology elements to deliver enhanced, scaled, actionable insights from data.
