(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 3-Nov-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Saab will present a powerful lineup of its latest defence and security innovations at the Dubai Airshow 2025, taking place from 17–21 November at Dubai World Central, United Arab Emirates. Visitors can find Saab at stand #945 in the main exhibition hall, where the company will highlight how its cutting-edge systems are enhancing air power, surveillance, and situational awareness for safer societies worldwide.

Among the key highlights at Saab’s exhibit is the GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft — widely recognized as the world’s most advanced AEW&C solution. First entering service with the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, GlobalEye delivers multi-domain surveillance capabilities, offering simultaneous air, maritime, and ground monitoring in a single platform. Saab will also display a model of the Gripen E fighter jet, marking its first appearance at the Dubai Airshow. The Gripen E represents the next generation of adaptable fighter aircraft, designed to meet evolving security challenges and counter advanced threats through superior situational awareness and flexibility.

Saab’s participation as a gold sponsor of the Dubai International Air Chiefs’ Conference further underscores its commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration on regional and global air defence strategies. “Now more than ever, protecting the sovereignty of airspace is foremost in the minds of many,” said Heléne Bittmann, Managing Director of Saab in the UAE. “Our expertise in airborne and ground systems that protect and defend national airspace are central to our Dubai Airshow presence. We are committed to our partners in the region and look forward to engaging with customers and stakeholders from the UAE and beyond.”

In collaboration with the UAE’s Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, Saab will also present Coast Control Radar, a software-driven solution designed to safeguard coastal and maritime zones, and DeployNet, a secure communication system developed for military operations. Both products represent key advancements in surveillance and defence communication technologies.

Visitors to Saab’s stand will additionally have the opportunity to explore the Giraffe 1X multifunctional radar, known for its ability to deliver real-time air surveillance, drone detection, and ground-based air defence — enabling critical “time to act” in fast-evolving situations. Saab will also demonstrate its civil and military digital tower solutions, including the Deployable Digital Tower, a modular and rapid-deployment air traffic management system capable of being operational within an hour and remotely controlled from secure locations, keeping field personnel out of harm’s way.

Rounding out Saab’s exhibition are the company’s Arexis Electronic Warfare system for the Gripen E and Eurofighter EK, along with advanced self-protection countermeasure systems that detect and neutralize hostile weapon threats. Through its comprehensive portfolio, Saab reaffirms its mission to create integrated defence solutions that make nations and societies safer.
