New Aker Hospital Project Moves Forward with AF Decom Appointed for Site Establishment and Coordination

(IN BRIEF) AF Decom, part of AF Gruppen, has secured a NOK 155 million general contract with Helse Sør-Øst RHF for site establishment and interior fit-out coordination at the new Aker Hospital. The work covers the Somatics Building and VDS/TS Building, including clean-site operation, logistics, waste management and fire safety. Production begins in early 2026 and will run until late 2031. (PRESS RELEASE) OSLO, 5-Dec-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — AF Gruppen subsidiary AF Decom has been awarded a new contract by Helse Sør-Øst RHF for work related to the construction of the new Aker Hospital in Oslo. The agreement, valued at approximately NOK 155 million (ex. VAT), will be delivered as a general contract and covers both site establishment and coordination during the interior fit-out phase of the project.

The assignment includes operational responsibilities within the Somatics Building and the VDS/TS Building, the latter containing the hospital’s energy and power infrastructure. AF Decom will manage site conditions during construction, ensuring dry and clean working environments while maintaining fire protection, waste handling and overall logistics for material flow into and out of the project. Work is scheduled to begin in Q1 2026, with final completion expected in Q3 2031.
