AF Gruppen’s Subsidiary Kanonaden Entreprenad to Reinforce Power Transmission with Svenska kraftnät Contract

In partnership with Hitachi Energy, Kanonaden will establish these stations at Olingan SC in Jämtland and Gräsmark SC in Värmland to enhance the existing CL26 transmission line. This project aims to bolster power supply reliability, reduce outage risks, and minimize environmental impact. Kanonaden’s scope of work includes construction, assembly, and installation. The contract, valued at approximately SEK 219 million (excluding VAT), will see the establishment of series compensation stations at Olingan SC in Jämtland and Gräsmark SC in Värmland. These stations will reinforce the existing CL26 transmission line, resulting in increased power supply reliability, reduced outage risks, and a positive environmental impact.

As part of the turnkey agreement, Kanonaden will oversee construction, assembly, and installation activities.
