(PRESS RELEASE) AUGSBURG, 9-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — KUKA has launched its digital strategy with a new division focused on software and digital solutions, unveiling its comprehensive offerings at the “KUKA digital_powering your business” event at its Augsburg headquarters. Known for its industrial robotics, KUKA is now advancing the digitalization of global industrial landscapes. The event’s highlight was the introduction of mosaixx, an open, collaborative cloud platform tailored for industrial software-as-a-service, marking KUKA’s commitment to seamless digital transformation.

Held at KUKA’s Development and Technology Centre, the event hosted discussions, workshops, and panel sessions with partners from the manufacturing, automotive, and software sectors. Participants explored strategies for end-to-end digitalization, emphasizing KUKA’s new portfolio for every stage of the production lifecycle—from initial factory design to robot programming, AI-assisted automation, and advanced data analytics.

Central to the event was KUKA’s new digital division, which integrates tools such as mosaixx, Visual Components, and Device Insight. This hardware-independent software suite facilitates everything from production planning and simulation to monitoring in a data-driven factory, aiming to streamline workflows for seamless production.

The mosaixx platform, designed for the unique demands of industrial machine building, allows system integrators to plan, implement, and manage projects in a shared, cloud-based environment with flexible billing options. Initially available in Europe’s DACH region, mosaixx will expand to North America in 2025.
