Hexagon Announces Leadership Changes: Thomas Harring Appointed EVP, Henning Sandfort to Lead Geosystems Division

(IN BRIEF) Hexagon has appointed Thomas Harring, currently President of its Geosystems division, as Executive Vice President (EVP), effective February 1, 2025. In this role, Harring will focus on enhancing operational excellence and driving business transformation. Henning Sandfort will join Hexagon as the new President of the Geosystems division, bringing extensive experience from Siemens Smart Infrastructure. Both leaders will report directly to the CEO, and their appointments are aimed at capitalizing on growth opportunities and advancing Hexagon’s position in the Geosystems industry.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 10-Dec-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Hexagon has named Thomas Harring, the current President of its Geosystems division, as the company’s new Executive Vice President (EVP). This move, effective February 1, 2025, is part of Hexagon’s ongoing efforts to enhance its operational capabilities and drive business transformation across its divisions and global regions.

In parallel, Henning Sandfort will join Hexagon as the new President of the Geosystems division, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his tenure as the global CEO of the Building Products Business Unit at Siemens Smart Infrastructure. Sandfort has a proven track record of expanding businesses across multiple sectors and regions, utilizing IoT and cloud-based software to drive sustainability and productivity in the building and industrial automation markets.
