RockSol acquisition strengthens Egis’ growth strategy across the Mountain States and Western United States

(IN BRIEF) Egis has acquired RockSol Consulting Group, a Colorado-based transportation infrastructure specialist with more than 240 employees, expanding its presence across the Mountain States and the Western United States. The move aligns with Egis’ strategic priority to grow in North America and follows its merger with Lochner in August 2025. RockSol, known for high-quality engineering, planning, construction management, environmental compliance and inspection services, has a long history of delivering highway, bridge, transit and public works projects for state DOTs, municipalities and federal agencies. Egis CEO Laurent Germain said the acquisition strengthens the company’s capacity to address regional infrastructure challenges, while RockSol founder Saeid Saeb described the partnership as an opportunity to extend the firm’s legacy of technical excellence. The combined strengths of both organisations will broaden Egis’ service capabilities and support long-term infrastructure development across the Western U.S.

(PRESS RELEASE) GUYANCOURT, 24-Nov-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Egis, the global architecture, consulting, engineering, operations and mobility services group, has expanded its U.S. footprint with the acquisition of RockSol Consulting Group, Inc., a Colorado-based transportation infrastructure firm known for its multidisciplinary expertise in engineering, planning, environmental compliance, construction management, inspection and materials testing. The acquisition significantly strengthens Egis’ market presence in the rapidly growing Mountain States and Western U.S. region.

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Thornton, Colorado, RockSol has earned a strong reputation for reliability, technical excellence and high-quality delivery in transportation infrastructure. With a workforce of more than 240 employees, the firm supports municipalities, counties, state Departments of Transportation and federal agencies across the Western United States. Its project portfolio spans highways, bridges, transit systems and public works, with a consistent focus on safety, environmental stewardship and community improvement.

Egis has identified North America as a core strategic priority, aiming to accelerate its position as a global Top 10 professional services firm. The acquisition of RockSol follows Egis’ August 2025 merger with engineering firm Lochner, a well-established ENR Top 100 company. Combined, these moves represent a major leap forward in Egis’ U.S. growth, expanding its capacity to deliver integrated infrastructure services across an even wider geographic footprint.

“We are delighted to welcome RockSol and its teams to the Group. This is an important step in our global growth journey,” said Laurent Germain, Chief Executive Officer of Egis. “Together, we will bring even greater technical excellence and resources to the infrastructure challenges facing communities across the Western United States and beyond.”

Saeid Saeb, President and Founder of RockSol, highlighted the strong alignment between the two companies: “With an emphasis on quality, I am incredibly proud of what our team of professionals has built at RockSol. Our long-standing business relationships are a testament to the satisfaction of our clients and the standard by which we measure our success. Joining the Egis team represents an exceptional opportunity to extend our legacy of delivery excellence, providing even greater value to our clients and the communities we serve.”

Egis leadership emphasised that this strategic partnership enhances the company’s Western U.S. presence and strengthens its comprehensive portfolio of infrastructure solutions. The integration of RockSol’s regional expertise, combined with Egis’ global capabilities, will create new opportunities for teams to grow and deliver high-impact, resilient infrastructure for communities across the region.
