ASSA ABLOY Acquires Kingspan Door Components to Enhance Product Portfolio in Residential and Industrial Door Systems

(IN BRIEF) ASSA ABLOY has acquired Kingspan Door Components, a Belgian manufacturer specializing in high-quality sectional door panels for residential and industrial use. The acquisition strengthens ASSA ABLOY’s position in mature markets by expanding its product offerings. Kingspan Door Components, founded in 1983, employs around 70 people and will be integrated into ASSA ABLOY’s Entrance Systems Division, enhancing its competitive portfolio. The company reported a projected sales figure of EUR 25 million for 2024. While the deal is initially dilutive to EPS, it supports long-term strategic growth.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 5-Jun-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — ASSA ABLOY has finalized its acquisition of Kingspan Door Components, a leading Belgian manufacturer renowned for producing a wide range of high-quality door panels designed for sectional doors used in both residential and industrial settings.

Founded in 1983, Kingspan Door Components employs approximately 70 people and operates from its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Leuze-En-Hainaut, Belgium. As part of the Sectional Doors and Components business segment within the Industrial division of ASSA ABLOY, Kingspan Door Components will enhance the company’s existing product lineup.

For the fiscal year 2024, Kingspan Door Components is expected to report sales of around EUR 25 million (approximately SEK 290 million). While the acquisition is expected to initially be dilutive to earnings per share (EPS), it positions ASSA ABLOY for long-term growth in the sector.
