(IN BRIEF) Mercedes-Benz Trucks is showcasing a range of adventure and off-road vehicle highlights at Abenteuer Allrad 2026 in Bad Kissingen, including the first public presentation of Tobias Wagner’s completed battery-electric eActros 600 expedition vehicle. The truck, fitted with a specially developed Bliss Mobil motorhome body, is being prepared for a planned round-the-world journey beginning in autumn 2026, covering around 45,000 kilometres across more than 35 countries with an expected maximum of 80 charging stops. The project, developed with Mercedes-Benz Trucks, aims to demonstrate the real-world capabilities of battery-electric long-haul transport in demanding conditions and could become the first full circumnavigation of the globe in a fully electric truck. Hellgeth, a close partner of Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, is also presenting several Unimog and Arocs-based vehicles, including the Luxury Unimog anniversary model, three Unimog TenereX expedition vehicles and a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6×6 configured as a Dakar Rally Service Truck.

(PRESS RELEASE) LEINFELDEN-ECHTERDINGEN / BAD KISSINGEN, 5-Jun-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Mercedes-Benz Trucks is presenting several off-road and adventure vehicle highlights at Abenteuer Allrad 2026 in Bad Kissingen, with visitors able to experience a battery-electric eActros 600 expedition vehicle, multiple Unimog-based models and a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6×6 Dakar Rally Service Truck.

The exhibition, which runs until 7 June 2026, features the first public presentation of the completed eActros 600 expedition vehicle developed for content creator and professional truck driver Tobias Wagner, known online as “Elektrotrucker.” The vehicle has been fitted with a specially designed motorhome body from Bliss Mobil and is being prepared for a round-the-world journey planned for autumn 2026.

The project is being carried out in cooperation with Mercedes-Benz Trucks and is intended to demonstrate the capabilities of battery-electric long-haul transport under real-world and demanding travel conditions. Wagner, who has more than 160,000 followers on social media, plans to drive the eActros 600 across approximately 45,000 kilometres and more than 35 countries over the course of around one year.

The planned journey is expected to require no more than 80 charging stops. Based on current plans, the expedition would represent the first circumnavigation of the globe in a fully battery-electric truck. Visitors to Abenteuer Allrad can view the finished expedition vehicle for the first time during the event.

The eActros 600 was built at the Mercedes-Benz Trucks plant in Wörth am Rhein and has been converted into an expedition vehicle in recent weeks. The modifications include additional charging equipment, off-road features and a custom-designed living module from Bliss Mobil, transforming the long-haul electric truck into a world-travel vehicle capable of supporting extended journeys.

Alongside the eActros 600 project, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks partner Hellgeth is presenting several highly capable off-road and expedition vehicles based on the Unimog and Arocs platforms. The display includes the Luxury Unimog anniversary model, three Unimog TenereX expedition vehicles and a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6×6 configured as a Dakar Rally Service Truck.

The Luxury Unimog is powered by a 300 hp engine and has been created as a special anniversary edition marking 80 years of the Unimog. The vehicle reflects the long-standing role of the Unimog as a robust and versatile platform for demanding off-road, expedition and specialist applications.

Hellgeth is also showcasing three Unimog TenereX models, which have been developed for challenging expedition travel. The TenereX concept combines comfort, practical storage solutions and strong reliability in difficult terrain. Its compact dimensions and tight turning circle are designed to support safe and comfortable driving on narrow mountain roads, forest tracks and remote routes.

The Unimog TenereX also benefits from long suspension travel with coil springs, precise axle guidance and responsive steering, supporting strong off-road performance and a confident driving experience in demanding environments.

Completing the Hellgeth presentation is a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6×6 configured as a Dakar Rally Service Truck. The vehicle highlights the Arocs platform’s suitability for heavy-duty support roles in extreme motorsport and off-road conditions.

Together, the exhibits at Abenteuer Allrad 2026 demonstrate the breadth of Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ adventure, off-road and expedition vehicle capabilities, ranging from battery-electric long-distance mobility to proven specialist platforms for demanding terrain.
