(PRESS RELEASE) BERLIN, 2-Sep-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — In cooperation with Dyn, BILD TV will show one selected top match of the Handball Bundesliga live on free TV on every matchday from August 27, 2023. The kickoff will be the match between German champion THW Kiel and rising star HBW Balingen-Weilstetten. On every weekend’s matchday, the previews by Dyn are shown on BILD TV from 2:30 p.m. each Sunday, followed by a top match at 3 p.m.

The Handball Bundesliga will be accompanied by the new talkshow “HALLEluja!” every Sunday on BILD TV, starting at 1:30 p.m. on August 13 and covering all sports except for soccer. Especially the Handball top match of the day will be a main topic for the hosts Valentina Maceri and Carli Underberg. The live sports program on Sundays will be successively expanded: Starting October 1, BILD TV will additionally show one top game of the Basketball Bundesliga every week.

Valentina Maceri and Carli Underberg have been hosting sports shows on BILD TV since 2021, but up until now the program has only featured soccer. The hosts are very excited about the launch of the Handball Bundesliga and the Super Sonntag on BILD TV: “The cooperation with Dyn allows us to perfectly complement our soccer-packed forenoons with the Handball Bundesliga and will turn the Sunday on BILD TV into the perfect overall experience for every sports fan,” says Carli Underberg, Vice Editor-in-Chief Sports of BILD Group and WELT Group, explaining the expansion of the sport line-up.
