Vestas Secures 203 MW Wind Turbine Order for Unnamed US Wind Project

(IN BRIEF) Renewable energy company Vestas has recently received a substantial order for 45 V163-4.5 MW wind turbines, totaling 203 MW in capacity, for an undisclosed wind project in the United States. The order encompasses the supply, delivery, and commissioning of these turbines, along with a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement aimed at ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of the wind asset. Turbine deliveries are set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2024, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2025. (PRESS RELEASE) HAMBURG, 1-Dec-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Vestas has received a 203 MW order to power an undisclosed wind project in the USA. The order consists of 45 V163-4.5 MW wind turbines.

The orders include supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset.

Turbine delivery begins in the fourth quarter of 2024 with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
