SCC acquires IT reseller Vohkus in first step of £300m investment program

(IN BRIEF) IT services provider SCC has acquired Vohkus, a UK-based IT reseller, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition is the first since SCC announced its £300m ($415m) technology investment program. Vohkus, which has 160 employees, provides IT product reselling to customers throughout the UK. SCC is looking to scale its presence in the country, and the acquisition will allow the company to offer a broader range of products and services to Vohkus’ clients. Co-founder Ritchie Sharma will retire from the company, with co-founder Frank O’Leary and others taking the reins.
