Saint-Gobain Agrees to Divest Nordic Ventilation Distribution Operations to Airvance Group as Part of Strategic Portfolio Optimization

(IN BRIEF) Saint-Gobain has agreed to sell its Nordic ventilation distribution business to Airvance Group as part of its ongoing portfolio optimization strategy. The business, which operates across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark under well-known brands and generated €415 million in revenue in 2025, will be transferred following standard consultation procedures. The transaction supports Saint-Gobain’s “Lead & Grow” strategy, allowing the company to focus on strengthening its core operations while Airvance expands its footprint in the HVAC sector.

(PRESS RELEASE) COURBEVOIE, 10-Apr-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Saint-Gobain has entered into an agreement with Airvance Group for the sale of its ventilation distribution business in the Nordic region, marking a strategic step in reshaping its portfolio in line with its long-term growth priorities.

The business being divested generated approximately €415 million in sales in 2025 and employs around 950 people across 62 outlets. It operates through several established brands in the region, including Bevego in Sweden, Ventistål in Norway, and Øland AIRFORCE in Denmark, positioning it as a key player in the Nordic ventilation distribution market.

The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of May 2026, pending the conclusion of customary information and consultation procedures with employee representative bodies. Once finalized, the deal will transfer ownership of the business to Airvance Group, a company with a strong presence in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions.

This divestment forms part of Saint-Gobain’s broader strategic roadmap, aimed at optimizing its business structure and focusing on areas with higher growth potential. The move aligns with the company’s “Lead & Grow” plan, which emphasizes strengthening core activities and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
