Saab to present its latest naval solutions at Euronaval from 23-26 October, in Paris

STOCKHOLM, 16-Oct-2018 — /EuropaWire/ — Saab will be exhibiting its state of the art naval solutions at Euronaval, (stand G18-H23) from 23-26 October, in Paris.

The latest developments in naval capabilities above and below the waves will be on display with torpedo, missile and radar systems, as well as the platforms and command, control and communication systems that Saab is renowned for.

Tuesday 23 October

  • 11:00, Saab Kockums, conventional submarine development.
    Gunnar Wieslander (Senior Vice President, Head of Business Area Kockums) will provide an insight on submarine development from the Gotland Mid Life Upgrade to the development of A26 and further projects. Held at Room 1 in the Conference Centre, accessed via Hall 2C.
  • 14:00, Surveillance in the emerging era of hypervelocity.
    Anders Linder, head of Saab’s Surface Surveillance will discuss how Sea Giraffe is evolving to match the challenge from ever faster threats. Held at the Saab stand.

Wednesday 24 October

  • 11:00, Defeating the modern submarine threat in littoral waters.
    A briefing on the new Saab Lightweight Torpedo and its features necessary to hunt submarines in challenging littoral waters.  Held at the Saab stand.
  • 14:00, RBS15 Gungnir, the new surface launched Swedish ship hunter.
    Saab will brief on the new RBS15 Gungnir missile system and how, from land or sea, it is at the forefront of modern anti-surface warfare. Held at the Saab stand.
