DNV verifies Salmon Evolution’s alignment towards sustainability framework for green loan

(IN BRIEF) Norwegian land-based salmon farming company, Salmon Evolution, has secured a NOK 1.55 million green debt financing package, which is expected to provide sufficient financial runway and buffer to refinance phase 1 and finance early phase 2 at Indre Harøy. The company uses hybrid flow-through system technology (HFS) to farm fish on land, targeting a production capacity of 100,000 tonnes HOG by 2032. DNV’s Nordic sustainable finance team verified the target’s alignment towards the DNB Sustainability Product Framework and facilitated the application for the green loan.
