Clearstream Launches New Bank in Luxembourg for Institutional Fund Investors

(IN BRIEF) Clearstream has launched a new bank called Clearstream Fund Centre S.A. in Luxembourg, which will provide services to institutional fund investors. The new entity operates under a commercial banking license and will be an important part of Deutsche Börse’s and Clearstream’s Fund Services, which provides fund execution, distribution, and data management. Clearstream Fund Centre S.A. will serve Clearstream’s fund execution business Vestima, giving clients access to over 230,000 funds in more than 50 markets. The entity is regulated under MiFID to help clients fulfill regulatory fund requirements and will be closely linked with Clearstream’s ICSD and CSD businesses, leveraging cross-divisional synergies for clients.
