(IN BRIEF) trinamiX, a subsidiary of BASF SE, will introduce its innovative technology for on-the-spot nutritional analysis of crops at Agritechnica, a major agricultural machinery trade fair in Hanover, Germany. The system includes a durable handheld device, a user-friendly mobile app, and a web-based portal, enabling farmers, consultants, and mill operators to assess crop quality instantly, eliminating the need for lab testing. The technology covers a wide range of crops and provides data on moisture, protein, fat, fiber, and more. This tool helps improve decision-making in agriculture, feed, and food production management, allowing users to make informed choices about harvesting, storage, and pricing. Visitors to Agritechnica can experience live demos at trinamiX’s booth from November 12-18.

(PRESS RELEASE) LUDWIGSHAFEN, 6-Nov-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — BASF SE (ETR: BAS), the world’s largest chemical producer, announces that its subsidiary specializing in mobile spectroscopy solutions, trinamiX, is set to unveil its cutting-edge technology for in-the-field nutritional analysis of crops at this year’s Agritechnica, a prominent agricultural machinery trade fair in Hanover, Germany. The innovative system comprises a robust handheld device, an intuitive mobile app, and a web-based portal, designed to empower farmers, consultants, and mill operators in assessing product quality at any stage and location in the production process. This eliminates the need to send samples to the lab for analysis.

The trinamiX Mobile NIR Spectroscopy Solution covers a wide range of crops, including cereals, oilseeds, expeller meals, extraction meals, and byproducts. Within seconds, users receive crucial nutritional data, including moisture, protein, fat, and fiber content, among others. These insights facilitate better decision-making in agriculture, feed, and food production management. For instance, farmers can optimize their harvest timing, storage methods, and pricing strategies. Mills gain a versatile tool for quality checks during the handling, processing, and preparation of raw materials and feed ingredients.

Nils Mohmeyer, Director IR Sensing & Spectroscopy Solutions Business at trinamiX, expressed excitement about the company’s debut at Agritechnica, “As a first-time exhibitor at Agritechnica, we are thrilled to showcase how trinamiX is taking a powerful technology out of the lab and into the field, offering a portable solution that is easy-to-use and affordable. After having already built a successful track record of enhancing the quality and efficiency at farms with mobile feed analysis, we are now looking forward to highlighting our offering for the crop industry.”

Agritechnica attendees can witness live demonstrations of the solution at booth H23 in hall 6 from November 12-18. Further details can be found at https://trinamixsensing.com/crops.
