BASF Partners with ALBIS and Ultrapolymers Group for European Sales of Ultraform® (POM)

(IN BRIEF) Effective October 1, 2023, BASF will transfer its European direct business for Ultraform® (POM) to its trusted trading partners, ALBIS and Ultrapolymers Group. While the sales process will be handled by ALBIS and Ultrapolymers Group, BASF will continue to focus on research and development for Ultraform®. This ensures that customers can still benefit from BASF’s innovations and expertise in addressing technical challenges. Ultraform® is BASF’s polyoxymethylene range, offering versatile engineering plastics suitable for various applications in industries such as vehicle construction, medical technology, and mechanical engineering. The sales process for Ultraform® will be transferred to trusted trading partners, ALBIS and Ultrapolymers Group.

Ultraform® is a vital component of BASF’s engineering plastics portfolio and will continue to hold its significance. While the sales process transitions to ALBIS and Ultrapolymers Group, BASF will retain its research and development efforts for Ultraform®, ensuring that customers can still benefit from BASF’s innovations and extensive expertise, particularly in addressing technical challenges.

Ultraform® encompasses BASF’s polyoxymethylene range, offering versatile engineering plastics specifically designed for heavy-duty components. It finds applications in various industries, including vehicle construction, medical technology, and plant and mechanical engineering.

The collaboration between BASF and its trusted trading partners, ALBIS and Ultrapolymers Group, will facilitate a seamless transition, enabling continued access to Ultraform® products and support for customers in the European market.
