ANDRITZ Equips Minhan Paper with 700 t/d OCC Line to Boost Vietnam Packaging Capacity

The new system transforms both imported American and local OCC into premium testliner and corrugated medium, thanks to a comprehensive stock preparation line that includes PrimeSolve LC with advanced detrasher rotor technology and a PrimeScreen X module featuring cutting-edge rotor design. These innovations enable efficient reject removal, superior slushing, high screening efficiency, and reduced fiber loss. (PRESS RELEASE) GRAZ, 6-Aug-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — ANDRITZ has supplied and commissioned a cutting-edge OCC (Old Corrugated Containers) production line at Minhan Paper Joint Stock Company’s Van Lam mill in Hung Yen Province, Vietnam, strengthening Minhan’s position in the fast-expanding Vietnamese packaging sector.

The newly operational line—designed for 700 tonnes per day—processes a blend of American and locally sourced OCC into high-grade testliner and corrugated medium. Its full stock preparation package spans pulping through to approach flow, featuring advanced fiber recovery, broke management, and reject handling systems, including:

• A PrimeSolve LC unit with the latest detrasher rotor technology, achieving highly effective reject removal and enhanced slushing performance

• A PrimeScreen X module with a state-of-the-art rotor design, delivering exceptional screening efficiency, reduced energy consumption, and minimal fiber loss
