ANDRITZ has received an order from Action Tesa to supply a pressurized refining system.

Scheduled for start-up in Q2 2026, the system will feature a 33 t/h capacity and include advanced components such as a 20-inch plug screw feeder with AdvaProtect housing, an S1056 refiner, a pressurized digester with counterflow, and a C-Feeder concept for efficient material handling. (PRESS RELEASE) GRAZ, 5-Nov-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — International technology group ANDRITZ has been selected by Action Tesa, one of India’s leading building materials manufacturers, to supply a state-of-the-art pressurized refining system for the company’s upcoming medium-density fiberboard (MDF) production plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The new system is scheduled to start operations in the second quarter of 2026 and will significantly enhance Action Tesa’s fiber production capacity and operational efficiency.

The new refining system, designed for a capacity of 33 tons per hour, will feature advanced equipment at the core of its operation. Central to the system is a 20-inch plug screw feeder equipped with an innovative AdvaProtect compression housing that allows for on-site maintenance without requiring spare housing. The system also includes a pressurized digester with counterflow and steam regulation, a C-Feeder concept for optimized material handling, and an S1056 refiner that ensures high-quality fiber output with greater process control and reliability.
