(PRESS RELEASE) SOLNA, 2-Mar-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — AFRY has completed the integration of Reta Engenharia into its Brazilian operations, and as of 2 March 2026 the company is operating fully under the AFRY brand. The transition marks the final stage of the acquisition announced in July 2025 and represents a significant step in AFRY’s expansion across the Americas.

Reta Engenharia, known for its strong capabilities in project and construction management and its extensive experience in the mining and metals sector, is now fully incorporated into AFRY’s global organization. The integration aligns personnel, operational processes, service offerings and branding within AFRY’s international platform, which spans more than 40 countries.

The addition of Reta Engenharia strengthens AFRY’s position as a global engineering and project and construction management provider supporting the energy and industrial transition. Combining Reta’s regional knowledge with AFRY’s international expertise enhances the company’s ability to support sustainable industrial development across Brazil and the wider Latin American region.

Following the integration, AFRY’s workforce in Brazil has grown to more than 1,400 employees, increasing the company’s delivery capacity and enabling closer cooperation between local specialists and global teams.

The unified organization offers an expanded service portfolio in Brazil, covering project development from early feasibility studies and planning through implementation and full engineering procurement and construction management services. The integrated structure allows AFRY to support projects across their entire lifecycle, from concept and execution to operational support.

Nicholas Oksanen, Executive Vice President and Head of AFRY’s Global Division Industry, said Brazil represents a key market for AFRY and that the integration enhances the company’s ability to deliver complex industrial projects with coordinated teams working across all phases. He noted that combining global expertise with strong local capabilities enables AFRY to provide efficient and technically advanced solutions that support sustainable industrial growth.

Thiago Melo, Vice President of Mining and Metals at AFRY in Brazil, described the completion of the integration as an important regional milestone. He highlighted that the unified organization will improve collaboration and consistency across engineering, planning, project management and project control functions, helping AFRY deliver value to clients in Brazil and across Latin America.
