ABN AMRO Proposes Daniel Hartert for Supervisory Board, Succeeding Arjen Dorland

(IN BRIEF) ABN AMRO has nominated veteran executive Daniel Hartert to its Supervisory Board for a four‑year term, replacing Arjen Dorland. Hartert, born in Germany in 1958, has led technology and strategy roles at Bertelsmann AG, Philips, and Bayer AG, and currently advises Capgemini SE and Netskope Inc. The nomination requires approval from the European Central Bank and will be voted on at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) scheduled for 11 September 2025. Born in Germany in 1958, Daniel Hartert brings over 25 years of executive leadership in digital and operational roles across healthcare, consumer electronics, media, and semiconductor sectors in Europe and the United States. His previous positions include CIO at Bertelsmann AG and Philips Group, CEO of Philips Imaging Systems, and CIO of Bayer AG, alongside supervisory board service at Nagel Group SE. Today, Daniel counsels corporate boards on strategy, operations, and technology and serves as an advisor to Capgemini SE and Netskope Inc. He earned a Master’s in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Kaiserslautern.
