Ricoh Unveils Cost-Effective RICOH Pro VC40000 Inkjet Press for High-Speed Transactional and Book Printing

This advanced technology platform is designed to offer high-quality, cost-efficient solutions for transactional and book printing, providing printers with the ability to meet fast turnaround times and significantly increase production throughput for monochrome applications. The new press can achieve speeds of up to 180 meters per minute while maintaining 600 x 600 dpi print quality.

The RICOH Pro VC40000 comes in two ink-based variants: a dye-based option, ideal for transactional printing, and a mono pigment option, tailored for book printing. The dye-based version can also operate at 225 meters per minute at a resolution of 600 x 300 dpi, offering even faster production rates.

Flexibility is a key feature of this platform, with configuration options including duplex, simplex, and dual simplex capabilities. Ricoh’s Process Driven Automation, powered by Ricoh Process Director, enables complex production processes to be streamlined and automated, making it suitable for high-demand print environments.
