(PRESS RELEASE) WALLDORF/ ARMONK, 2-May-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP), a German multinational software company, and IBM (NYSE: IBM) have announced that IBM Watson technology will be integrated into SAP solutions to provide new AI-driven insights and automation, enabling more efficient and effective user experiences across the SAP application portfolio and accelerating innovation.

SAP will utilize IBM Watson capabilities to power its digital assistant in SAP Start, which offers a unified entry point for SAP cloud solutions. “IBM and SAP are joining forces to give businesses new and exciting ways to harness the transformative power of AI and use it as a source of competitive advantage,” said Arvind Krishna, IBM Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “With this announcement, we are infusing IBM Watson’s powerful, enterprise-grade AI capabilities into SAP’s leading ERP platform to help businesses reimagine customer experiences, boost productivity and fuel growth.”
