(PRESS RELEASE) LOUVAIN-LA-NEUVE, 23-Jan-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Carmeuse Group has strengthened its industrial footprint in the Middle East with the acquisition of Al Namariq, a modern lime production facility located adjacent to Carmeuse Majan’s existing operations in Salalah, Oman. The transaction, completed through Carmeuse Majan, Carmeuse’s majority-owned entity in the country, brings full ownership of Al Namariq and expands the Group’s production capabilities in a strategically important export location.

Carmeuse has operated in Oman since 2015, progressively expanding its presence to support customers across a wide geographic corridor extending from India and Korea to New Zealand. The addition of Al Namariq enhances Carmeuse Majan’s production platform, enabling greater operational flexibility and reinforcing its role as a reliable supplier to regional and international markets across the Middle East and Asia.
