Campina the second largest A-brand for 2014 in the Netherlands

Amersfoort, the Netherlands, 24-2-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — In 2014 Campina was the second largest A-brand, based on sales in supermarkets in the Netherlands. Campina hasn’t managed to stay in first place as it has been for the past 13 years and was passed by Marlboro by a minimal margin. This according to the yearly Brand Top 100 from IRI.

  • Appelsientje at 36 (from 32)
  • Milner at 38 (was 30)
  • Friesche Vlag at 41 (was 17)
  • Mona at 59 (was 42)
  • Chocomel at 65 (was 61)
  • Dubbel Frisss has reached 77th place (was 79)

The Top 10 Brands, based on the IRI report are:

  1. Marlboro: 399 million euros
  2. Campina: 385 million euros
    Douwe Egberts: 309 million euros
  3. Coca-Cola: 294 million euros
  4. Heineken: 246 million euros
  5. Unox: 202 million euros
  6. Dr. Oetker: 177 million euros
  7. Camel: 177 million euros
  8. Amstel: 176 million euros
  9. Grolsch: 160 million euros
