(PRESS RELEASE) MADRID, 8-Feb-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — Vestas announces that it has received a new supply agreement with its long term partner, E2i Energie Speciali Srl, an Italian wind power operator owned by F2i (Fondi italiani per le infrastrutture) and Edison. The agreement is for the supply and installation of eight V136-3.45 MW delivered in 3.6 MW Power Optimised Mode for the 29 MW Mazara Messer Andrea wind park, to be located in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, Italy.
“We are pleased to enter into this new supply agreement with our long term partner Vestas to build our latest wind plant in Mazara, another step for the green transition and towards the de-carbonisation targets we are pursuing” says Marco Peruzzi Chairman of E2i Energie Speciali and Executive Vice President Institutional Affairs, Regulation, Climate Change and Sustainability of Edison.
“We are proud to partner once again with E2i Energie Speciali, a key company for the development of wind energy in Italy, and one of our longer-lasting customers in the country.
