(IN BRIEF) Siemens and Capgemini have deepened their collaboration to develop AI-native digital solutions that integrate artificial intelligence directly into the foundation of product engineering, manufacturing, and operations. The partnership will deliver industry-specific applications that combine Siemens’ industrial software and automation expertise with Capgemini’s engineering and digital transformation capabilities. Through projects with Airbus, Sanofi, and GravitHy, the partnership is demonstrating measurable impact in decarbonization, production efficiency, and cost optimization. Targeting key industries including aerospace, life sciences, and automotive, Siemens and Capgemini aim to accelerate the shift toward intelligent, connected, and sustainable industrial ecosystems.

(PRESS RELEASE) MUNICH / PARIS, 30-Oct-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Siemens and Capgemini have announced an expansion of their long-standing strategic partnership to co-develop a new generation of AI-native digital solutions designed to transform product engineering, manufacturing, and operational processes. Unlike traditional tools that integrate artificial intelligence as an add-on, these solutions will be AI-native by design, embedding intelligence at the core from the outset to enable smarter, more adaptive, and sustainable industrial operations.

The collaboration targets 16 high-impact capability areas, focusing on measurable gains in production efficiency, speed-to-market, quality enhancement, and sustainability performance. By combining Siemens’ expertise in industrial automation, electrification, and digital twins with Capgemini’s deep engineering and transformation capabilities, the partnership aims to help organizations bridge the gap between technology’s business potential and real-world industrial application.

Together, Siemens and Capgemini will address long-standing industry challenges, such as integrating IT and operational technology systems—a hurdle now being overcome through industrial AI, next-generation automation, and digital twin ecosystems. The alliance will also leverage orchestrated AI agents to promote seamless collaboration across engineering and manufacturing environments, enabling connected, intelligent production systems.

“Capgemini acts as a compass for our customers, deeply understanding their goals and challenges, while Siemens provides the engine that drives transformation through technologies such as industrial AI, digital twins, and automation,” said Cedrik Neike, CEO of Digital Industries and Member of the Managing Board at Siemens AG. “Together, we guide our clients with speed, precision, and a clear path toward the digital future.”

Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini Group, added: “Our combined strengths enable us to help clients navigate complexity and achieve tangible outcomes. This enhanced partnership underscores our shared vision of delivering intelligent, AI-powered manufacturing and industrial operations that create measurable value and drive new standards for efficiency and sustainability.”

The power of this collaboration is already evident through multiple client projects:

Airbus is working with Siemens and Capgemini to decarbonize four of its industrial sites in the U.S. and U.K. Using Siemens’ technologies, including energy system twins, Airbus aims to cut energy consumption by 20% and reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 85% by 2030. Capgemini contributes project planning, consulting, and implementation support to accelerate the initiative.

Sanofi is partnering with the two companies to standardize and digitalize its production processes. Through a Generative AI-powered Manufacturing Execution System (MES) program, Sanofi has achieved a 70% reduction in review time and 80% fewer deviations, establishing new benchmarks for efficiency and compliance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

GravitHy, a French industrial company specializing in green iron production, is leveraging Siemens and Capgemini’s technologies to optimize digital workflows, improve agility, and lower hydrogen production costs by up to 10%, supporting its broader energy transition goals.

The joint global initiative will focus on sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and life sciences, as well as emerging industries like hydrogen and water management. To meet rising market demand, Capgemini plans to expand its network of certified Siemens technology experts worldwide. The partnership—spanning nearly two decades—already serves over 100 clients across 20 countries, reinforcing a proven go-to-market model for industrial digital transformation.
