Saab to showcase multi-domain sensors and advanced ground combat systems at 2022 Defense and Security Exhibition Korea

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 16-Sep-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Saab AB (STO: SAAB-B), leading company in the military defence and civil security markets, has announced its participation at the 2022 Defense and Security Exhibition Korea (DX Korea), Asia’s best defense networking platform. The company will demonstrate multi-domain sensors and advanced ground combat systems in Hall 8, Stand 8C-41 at Seoul’s KINTEX II Centre from 21 to 25 September.

DX Korea is a forum for the defence industry across the land sector for both the Republic of Korea and the global market. Saab maintains a significant presence in South Korea and at DX Korea we will highlight more opportunities to work together for the safety and security of the Korean people. This year Saab is concentrating on its superior capabilities in multi-domain sensors and advanced ground combat systems.

Advanced Radar Systems. Since 2009, the Republic of Korea Army and Marine Corps have protected the nation with Saab’s Arthur mobile weapon locating radar systems. Saab’s advanced radar family is constantly evolving to incorporate the very latest AESA technology for multiple applications, such as Giraffe 1X and Giraffe 4A radar systems.

Airborne Early Warning & Control. GlobalEye is Saab’s latest addition to the airborne surveillance arena, with a unique sensor suite ensuring increased early warning against the most demanding types of threats. A solution capable of simultaneous detection of objects accross domains (air,sea,land), GlobalEye maximises situational awareness and provides optimal decision support.

Ground Combat Systems. Carl-Gustaf® M4, AT4 and NLAW systems are the global benchmarks for lightweight infantry firepower. They are constantly evolving to defeat new threats and keep your soldiers one step ahead.

Countermeasures Dispenser System. BOL – this electromechanical dispenser is an intelligent system solution to counter RF and IR threats that can be installed into missile launchers, conformal housings, pylons, fuselage or external pods.
