Polygon Netherlands takes over 50 year old firm specialist in restoring documents, artefacts and art

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, Sweden / GOES, The Netherlands, 11-Apr-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — Triton Fund III company Polygon Netherlands has taken over the Dutch specialist in restoring documents, artefacts and art VANWAARDE. The acquisition will be in retroactive effect as of 1 January 2019.

The VANWAARDE acquisition will help Polygon Netherlands to strengthen its position in the document restoration business.

The financials of the deal were not disclosed and there will be no change in the name of ANWAARDE following the deal.

According to Polygon Netherlands President Marlies van der Meulen global demand for document restoration services in the Netherlands has driven their decision in acquiring the Dutch company.

Commenting on the deal, Marlies van der Meulen said:

“I am very pleased with this acquisition. We found that there was a demand for document restoration services in the Netherlands, also from a global perspective. We are happy to now be able to provide these services for our customers. It increases our proposition as a full-service company.”

Other acquisitions Polygon has made over the past couple of years include Alvisa 24, fire damage restoration specialist in Switzerland, and Skadegruppen AS, Norway based property damage restoration services provider.

VANWAARDE traces its business roots back to 1970s when 3 different restoration studios have independently begun their businesses. Since 2015, they joined forces together and today the company employs 14 experts and specialists in restoring documents, artefacts and art. VANWAARDE works from two branches in Beekbergen and Helmond, The Netherlands and has EUR 1.7 million sales per year.
